Matteo Forgione started skateboarding in 1994, taught skateboarding professionally
until 2006, celebrated the release of his first of four pro model skate decks (Mr. Matteo head in 2005). He was the first
skateboarder to backflip a spine (2003). Was sponsored by Red Bull, Eastern Boarder, Oakley, Revolt Industries and of course
Worship.
He is an entrepreneur and engineer who owns Forgione Engineering, Inc. He has worked on and developed
thousands of parts and projects including extensive proprietary, patented and patent pending developments. He received his
BSME and MSME from the University of Massachusetts.
Matteo still skateboards for recreation and plans to continue
skateboarding as his children grow into it.
